More Ivy Taming

TODAYS BATTLE WITH THE IVY

So the idea is to bring the ivy down just below the upper stone transom of the first floor window. That way we can manage it much better.

The branches are really thick so I will have to saw my way through which is fine except my ladder only reaches 7mtrs so it’s a bit of a balancing act at the moment trying to pull all the upper ivy away from the wall and roof.

Still...I’m never one to shy away from a challenge! Happy

Run Away Ivy!

OK,

So today’s job was to tame the ivy around the side of the house and make its maintenance more manageable.

It looks so much better don’t you think?

It’s the little jobs that make it all come together. Plus having all the right tools for the job. ^^^^Check out the NEW ladder and Lawn Mower!!^^^^ (sad I know when you get excited about tools! Laugh )

Still got a long way to go, but so excited for this project. It’s going to be fab. I can’t wait.

Oh and just in case you fancy another look at the mower. vvvv Here it is Laugh vvvv

Off To The Airport.

HEADING OVER TO LA ROCHELLE TO PICK UP THE GIRLS.

Finally after a stressful week for my Mum and Bea, the passport arrived and they are on their way to France.

What a palaver.

At least we get to have a summer holiday in the warm sunshine before Bea starts her new school Happy
